New route Easyjet London-Luton – Basel
New low-cost routes are available at London-Luton Airport. As of November Easyjet flies from London-Luton to Basel in Switzerland.
Basel Airport (BSL), officially known as EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg has a peculiarity of being operated conjointly by France and Switzerland, while serving actually three countries: the catchment area of EuroAirport encompasses the Alsace region of France, the north-western Switzerland and the south of Baden in Germany.

More Easyjet routes in late 2014
The new Easyjets’s service is a part of an expansion plan drawn for three of the airline's bases - apart from Basel, also Milan Malpensa Airport and Hamburg Airport. The German airport (Hamburg) is to sees the largest number of new additions in its schedule, with four new routes inaugurated between 4 and 6 of November, namely:
- Easyjet route Hamburg (HAM) – Geneva (GVA)
- Easyjet route Hamburg (HAM) – Krakow (KRK)
- Easyjet route Hamburg (HAM) – Fuerteventura (FUE)
- Easyjet route Hamburg (HAM) – Lanzarote (ACE)
Another novelty introduced to Easyjet network at Malpensa Airport in the last quarter of 2014 is a high-frequency service Milan-Malpensa (MXP) – Munich (MUC), available 12 times per week.
