Fantastic weather-conditions in The Canaries
If holidaying on Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife or Gran Canaria, midday temperatures will reach 20 degrees or more on the average day in January.

Tenerife in January:

Tenerife and Gran Canaria are usually the, marginally, warmest islands of the Canaries.

La Gomera, El Hiero and La Palma are equally warm on the level of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, but the size of these three minor islands in the western part of the Canaries island group make them slightly less popular as holiday destinations. They are, however, the perfect escape from mass tourism.

Fuel policies can differ and, very often, there was a fuel administration fee to pay ranging from 15 and 40 euro additional to the basic rental charge. Excess would range from approx. 500 euro for smaller cars to 2500 euro for a minibus rental in the Canaries.
