Enterprise Rent-A-Car in France and Spain - ATESA and Citer SA rebranded

As of February 2013 two major European car rental brands, French Citer S.A. and its Spanish subsidiary ATESA, will be operating under the new name: Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The U.S. based company, Enterprise Holdings, acquired Citer and ATESA in February 2012, as part of a plan to strengthen its position in Europe. The company is already present in Germany, Ireland and the UK. The UK locations of Enterprise Rent-A-Car include car rental stations in 23 cities.

Enterprise Holding is the world’s largest car rental company, with a fleet of over 1.300 vehicles and 8.200 agencies across the world. In the U.S. the company operates as Enterprise Rent-A-Car and also through its regional subsidiaries Alamo Rent a Car and National Rent a Car. After the rebranding, the new European acquisition will add 350 new car rental locations to Enterprise car hire network.
