Enterprise Rent A Car enters New Zealand market
One of the largest American car rental brands, Enterprise Rent A Car has launched its first operation in New Zealand. Since mid-July 2016 it is possible to rent Enterprise cars at Queenstown Airport.
It is a part of Enterprise’ strategy to build large networks on new markets through cooperation with local brands of established quality. In New Zealand, the selected franchisee is Redspot Car Rental, which is actually an Australian, home-grown, family business.
Over 20 years of experience, competitive rates, diverse fleet and high quality of customer service spoke in favour of selecting Redspot for the cooperation with Enterprise.
Wide coverage in Australia was, undoubtedly, an argument, too. Redspot is the largest locally owned rent-a-car brand in Australia, covering most international and regional airports, as well as a wide selection of downtown rental stations. Queenstown Airport (ZQN) is the first outside-Australia location for Redspot.
The arrival of Enterprise Rent A Car to New Zealand has, however, wider ramifications. The brand is a part of Enterprise Holdings network which includes other two major car rental providers, Alamo and National. From now on those too will now also be able to offer their services in Queenstown Airport and, soon also in other New Zealand locations.
