Cartrawler to hire 400 new employees in Ireland
Cartrawler, one of world’s leading companies specializing in online car rental comparison and booking has announced it will create 400 job openings at its headquarters in Dundrum, in the suburbs of Dublin, Ireland.

The recruitment of the first 200 employees has already started, featuring a wide range of positions in business development, customer operations, finance, technology and engineering departments. The first phase of recruitment is expected to be accomplished by the beginning of 2015. On October 18th, the company held an “Open Day” for prospective candidates for the new jobs at Cartrawler in Ireland.
Cartrawler Customer Centre of Excellence
Simultaneously, Cartrawler announced opening of a new customer support centre, under the name of International Customer Centre of Excellence. Located also in the company’s headquarters in Dundrum, the new centre will provide support for Cartrawler’s customers in 174 countries across the world.
Cartrawler’s CEO, Mike McGearty emphasised the importance of investing in both technology and human resources in order to retain the company’s leading position on the global online car rental market. McGearty expressed pride in being able to create new jobs locally in Dublin, Cartawler’s birthplace. In recognition of Cartrawler’s role in stimulating the local job market the company will receive support from the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, through Enterprise Ireland.
Cartrawler has offices also in London and Boston, USA.
Cartrawler was founded in 2004 in Dublin. The company cooperates with 1200 car rental companies in 174 countries, in more than 30,000 city and airport locations and partners with major operators of the travel industry, amongst them large airlines, for example Norwegian, Aer Lingus, Emirates, Finnair or Volotea.
Cartrawler also own two online car rental companies Argus Car Hire and Holiday Autos.
