Kiev International Airport is located in the southern neighbourhood of the city, known as Zhuliany.

Next to the airport runs a major European thoroughfare, the European Route E40, leading to Lviv in Ukraine and further west to Poland, Germany, Belgium and France. East of Kiev, the E40 continues to Russia and many of the former Soviet territories.

Another major motorway with good access from Zuhliany Airport is the E95, leading south to Odessa on the Coast of the Black Sea.

Kiev Boryspil Airport, the main airport of Ukraine is located in approx. 18 miles east of Kiev city centre, on the right side of River Dnieper.

The most convenient way to transfer between the two Kiev airports is via the above mentioned E40. In normal traffic conditions around 30-40 minutes are required to cover the 22 miles distance between Zhuliany and Boryspil airports by E40.
