Frankfurt Airport terminals and airlines
Flughafen Frankfurt has two main terminals, named Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, as well as a separate, small terminal located near Terminal 1. This facility, known as Lufthansa First Class Terminal, is used exclusively by Lufthansa Group first class passengers.

Terminal 1
Terminal 1, originally known as Terminal Mitte is the older section of Frankfurt Airport. It I used primarily by Lufthansa and their Star Alliance partners. FRA Terminal is divided into three levels, being departures and check-in counters located on the upper level and arrivals and baggage claim on the ground floor.  The -1 level hosts ground transportation facilities: parking and regional railway station with services to Frankfurt city centre and other cities of the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region. Terminal 1 is divided into concourses A, B, C and Z.

Consisting of two concourses, D and E, Terminal 2 of Frankfurt Airport is fairly smaller than Terminal 1, serving airlines of the Oneworld and SkyTeam alliances.

Frankfurt Airport ground transportation –  FRA trains as an alternative for car hire
The great popularity of Frankfurt Airport stems largely from the airport’s excellent connectivity.

The station also connects to the S-Bahn commuter trains, lines S8 and S9.
