Public transportation from ABZ
The airport is located fairly close to the city centre, along the A96 road which leads to Aberdeen on the east and Inverness to the west.
A variety of public transportation options between the airport and the city are available, including buses, train and taxis. The bus is probably the least convenient mean of transportation, taking approximately 30 minutes to reach the city centre, in normal traffic. The train take about 10 minutes, but requires a transfer, usually by taxi, to the Dyce Station, located outside the airport’s grounds.
Whenever more than one passenger are travelling, a taxi is a fairly economic way to get to the city, costing approx. £16, and a quick too, as the ride takes about 15 minutes, without traffic.
