Cyprus is the country which lies furthest east in Europe. It is in the Mediterranean sea south of Turkey, not far from Syria, Lebanon and Israel in the Middle East.

Many tourists book hotels in Agia Napa or in the more quiet area of Protaras and Fig Tree Bay in Cyprus. It is worth keeping in mind that when hiring a vehicle in Cyprus that almost all hire companies will bill you extra for a tank of petrol regardless of whether you fill it up before returning the car or not.

In other words, it is best to use up almost all the petrol before delivering the vehicle back to the hire provider.
